These are the terms that govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from us. We have tried to write them in plain English, because rules you cannot read are not rules you can trust. By browsing the site, placing an order or creating an account, you agree to what follows. If something here does not sit right with you, please write to us before you buy — we would rather sort it out early.
These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Warranty & Support terms. Where any of those policies covers a topic in more detail, that policy applies to that topic.
About these terms and the entity
This website and the Girnaar brand are operated by [Girnaar Home Solutions Private Limited] (“Girnaar”, “we”, “us”, “our”), with GSTIN [22AAAAA0000A1Z5] and registered address [Unit & building name, street], [Area, locality], [City], [State] [400001]. When we say “you”, we mean the person browsing the site or placing an order. These terms, together with the policies linked above, form the agreement between you and us. We may update them from time to time, as explained in the “Changes to these terms” section below.
Who can buy (eligibility)
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract under Indian law to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the details you give us — name, delivery address, contact number and email — are accurate and complete. If you are buying on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so. We ship within India only. We may decline or cancel an order where we reasonably believe the eligibility or accuracy conditions are not met; in that case any amount you have paid is refunded in full.
Products, pricing and GST
All prices on the site are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of GST at the applicable rate. A valid GST invoice is issued for every order and is included with your shipment and emailed to you. If you need the invoice raised against a business GSTIN, add those details at checkout or write to us before dispatch and we will do our best to accommodate it.
We describe our products — our air purifiers and our handheld showers and softener-filter cartridges — as honestly as we can. A shower softener filter is designed to reduce the effects of hard water on your hair and skin; it does not eliminate hardness or soften your whole home’s water supply. An air purifier helps the air inside a room; it does not fix outdoor air quality. Where a specific performance figure for a product is not yet finalised, you will see [SPEC_PLACEHOLDER] rather than an invented number. Product images are representative; minor variation in colour or packaging can occur.
Pricing errors. Despite our care, a price or specification on the site may occasionally be wrong. If we discover an error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will tell you before we dispatch it and give you the choice to re-confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We will not dispatch the order or charge you the wrong amount on the strength of an obvious error.
Orders and acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. Our acknowledgement email confirms we have received that offer; it is not yet our acceptance. The contract between us is formed only when we dispatch the product (or the relevant part of your order) and send you a dispatch confirmation. Until then, we may decline or cancel an order — for example, where the item is out of stock, where there is a pricing or description error, where we cannot verify your details, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you get a full refund.
Payments
You can pay using UPI, credit and debit cards, and netbanking, through our payment partners. Cash on delivery (COD) is offered on eligible orders and pincodes where available, and may carry a small handling fee shown at checkout. Online payments are processed by PCI-DSS-compliant gateways; we do not store your full card details on our servers. If a payment is debited but your order does not confirm, write to us with the transaction reference and we will trace it — a failed-but-debited amount is normally auto-reversed by your bank, and we will help follow up if it is not.
Shipping and delivery
We ship across India through our courier partners. Delivery timelines, charges, free-shipping thresholds and what to do if a parcel is delayed or arrives damaged are set out in full in our Shipping Policy. Please give a complete address and a reachable phone number — most delivery delays we see come down to an incomplete address or an unanswered call. You can follow your parcel on our Track Order page.
Cancellations
You can cancel an order before it is dispatched at no cost — just write to us quickly at care@girnaar.in with your order ID, and any amount paid is refunded in full. Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled in transit; you can instead refuse delivery or, after delivery, use the returns process below. We may also cancel an order for the reasons set out under “Orders and acceptance”, with a full refund where you have already paid.
Returns and refunds
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, or if you simply change your mind within the eligible window, our Returns & Refunds Policy explains exactly what qualifies, how to raise a request, and how and when your refund reaches you. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the rules made under it.
Warranty
Our products carry a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the period stated on the product page and in our Warranty & Support terms. The warranty covers genuine defects, not wear-and-tear, accidental damage, or normal consumable replacement — filter and cartridge replacements are consumables and are not warranty items. Keep your GST invoice; it is your proof of purchase for any warranty claim.
Country of origin and seller details
In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we disclose the country of origin of each product on its product page (shown as [SPEC_PLACEHOLDER] where it is being finalised for a specific SKU), so you have what you need to make an informed choice before you buy. We sell our own products directly; this is not a marketplace listing third-party sellers. Grievance redressal
If something goes wrong, we want to hear about it and put it right. You can raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer, appointed under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:

We will acknowledge your grievance within 48 hours of receiving it and work to resolve it within one month from the date of receipt, in line with the timelines under the Rules. To help us move fast, please include your order ID, the pincode it shipped to, and a clear description of the issue (with photos or a short video if something arrived damaged or is not working as it should).
Acceptable use and intellectual property
You are welcome to browse, share links to our pages, and use the site to research and place orders. You agree not to misuse it — no attempts to breach security, scrape at scale, introduce malicious code, place fraudulent orders, or use the site in any way that breaks the law. The content on this site — text, product descriptions, photographs, illustrations, the Girnaar name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the site for your own genuine shopping and reference.
Limitation of liability
We stand behind our products and our service, and nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Indian law — including your statutory rights and remedies as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes outside our reasonable control. Our products are designed to help — an air purifier helps with indoor air, a shower softener filter reduces hard-water effects — and we describe what they do and do not do plainly so your expectations are accurate. We make no medical claims; if you have a specific health concern, please consult a qualified doctor.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against reasonable losses, claims and costs that arise from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site — for example, placing fraudulent orders or infringing someone else’s rights through your use of the site. This does not affect or reduce your rights as a consumer under applicable law.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights under consumer protection law — which let you approach the consumer forum with jurisdiction over your own location — the courts at [City] shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms. We would always rather resolve a complaint directly and quickly through our support and grievance process first.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time — to reflect new products, updated payment or delivery options, or changes in the law. When we do, we update this page and change the “last updated” reference shown with it. The version in force at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Significant changes will be highlighted where we reasonably can. Please check this page before a major purchase so you know the current terms.
